As part of a series of initiatives aimed at nurturing and growing the startup community in New York City, The New York City Economic Development Corporation is excited to host a workshop designed for early stage startups who want to bolster their PR and Marketing efforts. The city has partnered with professionals from  Deutsch Inc, a marketing and branding firm,  The Barbarian Group, a digital agency and Attention, a communications consultancy to host this workshop.

Topics will include:

• Understanding the meaning of brand
• Building buzz with limited financing
• Leveraging social media to get the word out
• Crafting your story to get written up by leading blogs/media outlets
  

After the workshop there will be an opportunity to network informally with fellow early stage companies, key city representatives involved with the startup sector and public relations experts. We look forward to your participation.
